Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Object
These Terms and Conditions govern the online sale of photographic prints offered through the official website www.carlocarlettiphotography.com, which primarily presents works by Carlo Carletti but may also include works by other photographers personally selected by Carlo Carletti.
By placing an order through this website, the customer fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.

2. Products
The photographic prints available on the website are offered in three types:
- Limited Edition
- Signed Open Edition
- Free Edition
The type of each work is clearly indicated in its product description.
Images displayed on the website are for illustrative purposes only; colors and tones may vary from the actual print due to monitor settings.
3. Authenticity and Guarantee of the Photographic Prints
- Limited Edition: numbered, signed by the author, and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity, both the certificate and the signature are attached to the back of the print, ensuring the collectible value of the work.
- Signed Open Edition: the certificate of authenticity is signed and attached on the back of the print; the print itself is not signed without a limited edition number and and without fixed sizes .
- Free Edition: unsigned and without certificate, with no limit on the number of copies and without fixed sizes.
Each print must be handled with care as a collectible artwork.
4. Prices
All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
The price paid by the customer includes the print and standard shipping costs.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees are excluded and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Such charges are usually collected by the carrier upon delivery in the destination country. The seller / Arte Fotografica snc reserves the right to modify prices at any time, provided that the customer is charged the price shown at the time of purchase.
5. Orders and Payments
Orders are accepted exclusively through the website. Payments can be made using the methods indicated at checkout. The order is considered confirmed only after payment has been completed.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Shipments are made in protective packaging suitable to ensure the integrity of the prints. Prints are carefully prepared and shipped as soon as possible after purchase. Delivery times may vary depending on production and destination, but customers will be promptly informed in case of any significant delay. Upon delivery, the customer must carefully inspect the packaging and note any damages with the phrase “inspection reservation” on the delivery document if the package is damaged or tampered with. Acceptance of the package without reservation relieves the seller from any liability for visible damage to the packaging or contents. Any hidden damages (not visible externally) must be reported to the seller within 7 days of receipt, along with photographic documentation. The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for photographic works produced on physical support according to the customer’s specifications or clearly customized (e.g., fine art prints made to order). For other purchases, the customer has the right to withdraw within 14 days of receipt by notifying the seller via the email address indicated on the website. Withdrawal cannot be exercised for vague, occasional, or merely subjective reasons, such as “disliking the photograph”. In the event of withdrawal, the customer must return the print in the same condition as received, at their own expense. After verification, the amount paid will be refunded, excluding original shipping costs.
8. Warranty and Complaints
The seller / Arte Fotografica snc guarantees the quality of the prints and materials used. Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receiving the merchandise.
9. Limitations of Liability
The seller / Arte Fotografica snc is not responsible for any damage, loss, or deterioration of the prints, including but not limited to damages caused by improper handling, exposure to direct light, humidity, incorrect mounting, alterations after delivery, or any damage caused by the customer while handling the print. The customer handles the prints at their own risk. The seller is not responsible for any personal injury or accidents that may occur while handling the prints. The seller’s liability ceases upon delivery of the merchandise.
10. Copyright
All photographs are protected by copyright law. Purchasing a print does not transfer economic exploitation rights, which remain the exclusive property of the author. Any reproduction or unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data provided by the customer are processed in compliance with the GDPR and used exclusively for order management, shipping, and communications related to purchases. Any newsletters or promotional communications will be sent only if the customer has expressly consented by selecting the appropriate opt-in box during checkout or registration. The seller may contact the customer in the future to present other works available on the website or to inform about exhibitions, publications, or special events, always in compliance with the customer’s consent for promotional communications. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or for contractual obligations (e.g., carriers). The customer can withdraw their consent at any time by contacting the seller directly.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any disputes, the Court of Siena shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except for cases where mandatory provisions of the Consumer Code apply.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
